Willard Marine Sea Force 670 SOLAS RIBs are designed as fast reaction rescue boats that can be launched from a ship or drilling platform. Willard Marine SOLAS (Safety of Life At Sea) rescue boats are approved by the United States Coast Guard. This boat is powered by a USCG SOLAS approved 220hp inboard diesel engine and water jet.
The Willard Sea Force 670 is available with a number of launch options including Miranda davit, a single point lifting frame, offload release hook and self righting frame. The 6.7 metre (22 feet) craft can seat 9 passengers and can be supplied with a USCG approved inboard diesel engine with water jet propulsion.
Standard specifications include heavy duty fibreglass hull and deck construction utilising organic construction materials with high density foam inserts at all high strength connections. Under-deck structure includes two longitudinal girders with four transverse bulkheads. Limber holes are installed to allow drainage to bilge areas plus two high capacity deck drains with elephant trunk bailers. Heavy duty sponsons are 55mm (22”) diameter Hypalon coated. Fasteners are Type 316 stainless steel.
