Fuel Systems - Click any image below for more information.

Fuel tanks can be built into a vessel or removable. Built in tanks are usually located in the hull of the vessel and are constructed of stainless steel, aluminium or plastic. Removable, flexible fuel bladders can be stored above deck and are used to extend the range of a craft.

Commercial RIB and high speed craft operators are now using fuel flow meters to improve fuel efficiency and range. Meters are used to quantify how much fuel an engine is using. Fuel records enable comparison with other craft and can assist in identifying engine and drive train faults.
