U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team

The U.S. Coast Guard Maritime Security Response Team will be showcasing their tactical gear and vessels at the on-water / pier side demonstration. A full scale marine interdiction and dive operation exercise will showcase the regional capabilities. After the exercise participants will be treated to demonstrations of the latest maritime security technology and vessels. This demonstration and showcase will allow all participants to have hands on experience with the tools available for their day to day operations. Homeland Security Outlook (HSO) and the Surface Navy Association (SNA) are teaming up to host Maritime Security 2016 East. SNA was incorporated in 1985 to promote greater coordination and communication among those in the military, business and academic communities who share a common interest in Naval Surface Warfare and to support the activities of Surface Naval Forces. With a large membership base in the Hampton Roads and Washington D.C. area, SNA's partnership will provide great benefits for all participants.

Maritime Security 2016 East is the fourth instalment of the Maritime Security East program series, building upon the successes of last year’s conference in Jacksonville, Florida. As the fourteenth maritime security conference hosted by Homeland Security Outlook since 2011, Maritime Security 2016 East furthers a commitment to address the needs of governments, law enforcement, and critical infrastructure stakeholders.
