Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance 2014

Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance 2014 - Rome, Italy

Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance, 29 September to 1 October in Rome Italy is the only European community event dedicated to the requirements of Maritime Domain Awareness experts around the globe.

With over 30 conference sessions the international event brings together key military and industry contacts in the sector for a 3 day meeting each year to discuss operational feedback and capability gaps.

Learn about current problems in achieving domain awareness

Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance gets to the heart of the challenges encountered by Navies, as their task of monitoring, policing and interdicting vessels is made increasingly difficult by the increasingly complex tactics and vessels employed by hostile forces. Hear about gaps in capabilities discovered during recent operations and the requirements these Navies now face.

Engage with military commanders re capabilities & requirements

The conference represents an unrivalled opportunity to not only listen to senior military commanders about the future of their fleets, but also interact with them on a one-to-one basis. Maritime Reconnaissance & Surveillance 2013 attracted over 150 representatives from 20 different nations. The 2014 conference includes those from new nations such as Malaysia, Nigeria, Iceland and Cape Verde.

Explore and collaborate on future modernisation strategies

The event’s interactive panel discussion and networking sessions ensures that there is a two-way discussion between military and industry on the future direction of patrol aircraft. The reconnaissance and surveillance community will debate the best modernisation strategies going forward.
