SHOXS 6300 is a suspension seat that converts to a standing bolster for commercial and patrol vessels. The 6300 is suitable for installation on cabin boats and open boats including RHIBs and centre consoles. Typical applications include helmsman, crew and pax (passenger) seating. The drop out seat pan enables the occupant to choose standing or sitting operation of the boat and critical equipment. The SHOXS 6300 is easily folded and stowed which increases deck space.
The 200 mm (8”) suspension travel is designed to provide comfort and shock mitigation. The SHOXS 6300 utilizes CNC machined, hard anodized 6061-T6 and 5086 H116 aluminum construction. Components include 316 stainless steel, 316 stainless steel fasteners and Titanium. There is an option of black or grey anodizing and the seat upholstery is hand stitched.
SHOXS 6300 can be bulkhead or box mounted. Wide or extra wide armrests are available and pistol grips can be mounted to the armrests for crew comfort in extreme conditions. Options include lap belts and cup holders. A rear chart pocket can be fitted for crew and passengers behind.
The SHOXS engineering team works closely with suppliers to develop a wide range of technology led products to meet the requirements of boat builders and end user organisations.
