RNLI Lifeboat in Rough Weather Training
Boats Eye View: RNLI RIB operating in breaking waves as a trainee helm is put through his paces on board the Aberdovery lifeboat as he practices boat-handling skills in rough weather. The training exercise included finding and helping a casualty boat in lumpy conditions off Tywyn Beach. RNLI volunteers have to be ready to launch in any weather, so practice is essential.
