Shock Mitigation are on SSA Stand SR14 at Seawork 2017

Shock Mitigation will be on the SSA stand SR14 for Seawork 2017. From 15.00 to 17.00 on Wednesday 14 June Shock Mitigation also sponsors the SSA networking drinks reception.

The Shipbuilders and Shiprepairers Association has evolved over the years into the simpler SSA. From 13 to 15 June the SSA stand at Seawork attracts a diverse and influential group of maritime professionals.

This is the 4th year we have joined with SSA at Seawork. SSA membership includes manufacturers with a 99% share of UK ship production. Sectors include shipyards, commercial boat builders, equipment manufacturers service providers and research institutes. SSA works alongside the UK Ministry of Defence naval procurement and research programmes, along with the Department of Energy and Climate Change.

Do come and see us at Seawork and we can tell you about some exciting opportunities for the year ahead. You are welcome to join us on Wednesday afternoon - our drinks reception always has a great group onboard!!

Seawork Conference

PANEL DISCUSSION:

'Shock Mitigation, International Vibration Directives and the Implications of Brexit'

As the UK marine industry considers the implications of Brexit this session looks at how fast craft requirements and expectations are changing for the professional and commercial sectors in Europe and the US. Recent activity has been driven by the need to comply with Vibration Directives, which will still apply with or without Brexit. A panel of industry experts will offer insight - and answer the hard questions.
