RIB Magazine Changes To Powerboat & RIB

UK RIB Magazine Rebranded & Renamed POWERBOAT & RIB

Oyster House Media and Events have announced that from the 1st January 2012 the UK RIB Magazine will be rebranded and renamed Powerboat & RIB. This is in response to other key titles in this sector having being suspended and a desire on the part of OHM to provide a single, comprehensive magazine that will cover all forms of power boating, whether they are RIBs or hard-hulled craft.

Powerboat & RIB will be published on a bi-monthly basis. The new magazine will be on sale in time for London International Boat Show and will feature a fresh stock of material that will continue to be developed and expanded in the months to come. With essential and exclusive contributions from professional maritime experts, plus a hand-picked team of leading journalists forming the nucleus of the expanded writing team, Powerboat & RIB will carry highly informative and timely information throughout its pages.

Benefiting from its existing RIB Magazine readership and distribution, built up since 1994, Powerboat & RIB will be available in printed and digital format. An iTunes App is currently also being developed for future release.

Editor Hugo Montgomery-Swan and the team at Powerboat & RIB will have a busy 2012. The RIBEX show that is moving from Cowes to Portsmouth in 2012 will also be re-branded to reflect this new direction. Powerboat & RIB will be the chief media partner to the Gunwharf Quays powerboat show.
