Maritime Security 2015 Great Lakes is from 18th to 22nd May in Cleveland, Ohio, USA.
Maritime Security 2015 Great Lakes is unlike previous programmes as this agenda will be specifically focused on critical infrastructure protection, force protection and national special security events in the maritime domain.
Topics of discussion and speakers are carefully chosen to assist law enforcement, government personnel, port representatives and community stakeholders prepare for waterside national special security events.
Maritime Security 2015 Great Lakes furthers a commitment to address the needs of governments, law enforcement and other agencies to counter the challenges of securing coastlines, inland waterways and their critical infrastructure.
Maritime Security 2015 Great Lakes is the twelfth maritime security conference hosted by Homeland Security Outlook since 2011. The event provides discussion and collaboration on strategies and technologies to counter maritime security threats encountered by governments, law enforcement, port / terminal owners and operators.
Interactive workshop sessions are designed to give all conference participants the actionable knowledge on how to better secure their maritime areas of responsibility, mainly by stressing the importance of collaboration, efficiency and best practices.
Each of the conference workshop topics will be addressed by relevant perspectives of those who have implemented successful strategies and technologies in their maritime security operations.
Exhibitors will display relevant solutions to conference participants, ensuring that all attendees remain informed of the latest trends and technologies.
From 18 to 20 May the National Association of State Boating Law Administrators (NASBLA) will be offering a Boat Operations And Training (BOAT) Tactical Operators Course. This course is designed for marine law enforcement agencies to enhance their on-water tactical training.
