CWM FX London Boat Show January 9 to 18 2015

The 2015 CWM FX London Boat Show is from 9 to 18 January at ExCel Arena London UK.

The London Boat Show, Europe's original boat show, is now in it's 61st year. The show offers a broad range of watercraft from dinghies to superyachts. Independent boat builders and multinational companies will display power and sail boats ranging from 5 metre (15 feet) to over 15 metre (50 feet).

The Datatag Lab will be interactive, immersive and present the latest in innovation and technology from specialists including the UK Met Office, electronics manufacturer Raymarine and Southampton Solent University. Raymarine brings its navigation simulator to the show with a bridge system fitted to a custom Sunseeker Predator console. This displays professional training software on large screens to provide a fully interactive experience. Visitors can take the helm on a variety of vessels to experience virtual extremes without getting their feet wet, from flat calm through to hurricane force 12.

Sir Ben Ainslie and the Ben Ainslie Racing (BAR) team will be one of the attractions at the 2015 CWM FX London Boat Show. BAR was conceived in 2011 by four times Olympic gold medalist and 34th America’s Cup winner, Sir Ben Ainslie, with the long-term aim of challenging for Britain and bringing the America’s Cup back to where the event began in 1851.

The attendance of Ben and the British Challenger team for the 35th America’s Cup will reinforce the London Boat Show as an event ‘where adventure starts, pioneers meet and innovation shines’.
