Coastal & Maritime Surveillance Middle East

Coastal & Maritime Surveillance Middle East Summit 2015

The Coastal & Maritime Surveillance Middle East summit 2014 is from 8th to 10th December in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

The international summit is aimed at strengthening naval operations in the Middle East. Co-located with Offshore Patrol Vessels Middle East in Abu Dhabi, the event enables attendees to network with over 300 of the Gulf’s foremost leaders in naval affairs.

With recent global catastrophes highlighting the difficulty in delivering effective maritime operations, countries are now analysing and evaluating their current naval operations and asking how they can improve their maritime domain awareness (MDA).

CMS Middle East will bring together local and international stakeholders that are responsible for the development of effective naval operations and maritime surveillance and reconnaissance in the region and abroad.

Attendees will be able to explore the future of integrated air, land and maritime surveillance assets. The event will discuss what options are being adopted in other countries, which solutions are having the most success, and what could be applied in order to achieve a full, workable surveillance picture.
