OceanView Poseidon Night Vision system uses a triple camera configuration featuring simultaneously viewable independent Infra-Red, Thermal and Ultra-Low-Lux imaging sensors and a High Resolution colour camera with 300x Zoom. OceanView offer a full line of combination thermal imaging, lowlight and colour cameras that provide clear images in any light or environmental conditions. The various systems offer seamless integration with any marine monitor or TV and integrate easily with all marine electronics.

The 2x Zoom Thermal Imager allows a crisp image for safe operation in total darkness. The 10x Zoom Low-Light .00015/Lux camera amplifies barely discernible light to render a crisp detailed picture in adverse navigational conditions. Features include an advanced 2-axis Gyro-stabilisation with on-screen heading indicator, 360° continuous pan capability and target tracking via NMEA integration of Radar ARPA & AIS data.

The Poseidon is saltwater and corrosion resistant with a rugged triple primed and sealed, powder coated housing machined from aircraft grade solid billet aluminium. The sealed and heated camera enclosure is designed to withstand the harshest of marine environments. The unique quick release base facilitates easy service or system sharing between vessels.

The Poseidon camera is operated with the waterproof Joystick Control Unit that is included with the system. It is easy to operate even in adverse weather conditions. The optional LCD Touchscreen Control Unit has a separate screen that controls each of the three cameras. Another screen controls camera stabilisation with an easy to use touchscreen. A combination of up to 32 Control Units, positioned anywhere on the vessel, can be used to control the Poseidon camera.
