SeaPost Pacifica T-580 with Torsion 580 suspension is designed for increased comfort in rough seas and high speed craft applications. The Pacifica seat can be used in external applications as the seat utilises marine-grade materials including stainless steel hardware. The internal serpentine spring system provides shock isolation and eliminates bottoming out while seated. The bottomless comfort ride absorbs more than 4Gs of impact.
In addition this H.O. Bostrom Pacifica seat is also fitted with the high performance Torsion 580 suspension system. Weight control adjusts for occupant weights ranging from 50 kg (110 lbs) to 145 kg (320 lbs). The high-strength Torsion 580 dual dampers provide a 148 mm (5.8") shock-absorbing ride zone. In high sea conditions energy absorbers decelerate the compressed suspension to reduce shock impacts felt by seat occupants by up to 85%. An independent 76 mm (3") height adjustment is optional.
The Pacifica features a high-density, moulded and contoured foam seat for increased comfort. The foam seat padding is formulated with a Dry Ride urethane skin surface to seal out water and is non-absorbing for improved comfort and longer life. The seat is upholstered in a marine-rated, mildew-resistant vinyl for long life and better seat appearance.
The H.O. Bostrom design team has extensive experience of developing high performance ergonomic seating with in house engineering, fabrication, and assembly. The five-step marine grade finish ensures that metal components are pre-treated, E-Coated and finished with a TGIC powder coat for corrosion protection. The multi-finish system has passed an independent 1000 hour salt spray test. H.O Bostrom seats are ABS Certified to IMO specifications of High Speed Code, Annex 10.
