Shockwave S3 Corbin Jockey is an economical, compact and low weight solution for small to medium size RIBs and open boats. High travel seats are designed for heavy duty deck mounted applications where feet in suspension may be needed. The linear suspension module allows the seat to be mounted at various heights and still retain full suspension travel. This suspension seat can be supplied with optional under seat storage that provides dry, shock mitigated storage for personal gear and sensitive electronics.
The adjustable progressive spring rate FOX H2O FLOAT shock absorber has 200mm (8”) travel which provides a high level of shock mitigation and vibration attenuation. The Low Stiction Linear Suspension includes internal bump and topping protection, EVOL Extra Volume Tuning Canister plus ACCURIDE that confirms the shock is set for correct body weight.. Suspension can be customized with ride control pump. Seating upholstery features high energy absorption, form fitting, low point load, Corbin Design cushions. Shockwave seat frame construction is welded aluminum with fibreglass shell. Foam is closed cell non-hygroscopic covered by premium quality black fabric, other colours are available.
The simple robust Shockwave construction utilises 316 Stainless Steel parts and hardware. Components include 5086 and 6061 marine grade aluminum, certified MIG and TIG welded. Galvanic corrosion protection includes Shockwave black powder coated weldments, plus hard anodized machined finish or machine or cast components. Under seat storage provides dry, shock mitigated protection for electronics or personal gear. Seats can be customized with height adjust, fixed or quick release deck mounting, fore and aft slider, folding footrest and armrestss.
