Blue Ray Marine Helmet is a lightweight composite fibre helmet. The Blue Ray is designed for multi-role marine operations including military, swift water rescue, SAR, law enforcement, medics and first responders. The lightweight composite shell combined with a high performance foam liner gives the helmet excellent protection and high energy absorbing qualities.
The Blue Ray is a multi-role, high performance marine helmet with visor options. The standard Blue Ray helmet includes a comfortable 2-point chinstrap for a secure fit and optional visor studs. Helmet weight is designed to be balanced and comfortable for extended wear. Visor design gives clear vision in extreme conditions and can be used in part cover position or retracted as required.
The Blue Ray provides one helmet for multiple marine and rescue situations. Blue Ray can be fitted with many different options including hearing and face protection. Blue Ray top and side shaping gives good peripheral vision and integrates with military / marine goggles.
The Blue Ray is a one size helmet with a ratchet adjustment for sizes ranging from 52cm (20.5") to 62cm (24.5"). The Blue Ray is product tested to PAS 028, and EN 12492. Fitted with a clear polycarbonate visor it is tested to EN166. Visors are available in clear, smoked and 50 / 50. The Blue Ray helmet weighs 560 grams (19.5oz), with visor an additional 160 grams (5.6oz). Colour options include carbon fibre, red, white, black, orange, blue. Personalised logo / branding and Hi-Visibility tape are available upon request.
